President Mubarak received a message from Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz through Saudi foreign minister prince Abdullah Saud AL Faisal. The message related to developments in the region and means of activating Arab efforts in the face of global challenges.

President Mubarak received at the Presidential Palace in Heliopolis Dr. Mohamed AL Baradei, the Director of International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA in the framework of contacts by the President for discussing the developments of the Iraqi file in the light of the beginning of the activity of international inspection teams in Baghdad.


November 18th, 2002

President Mubarak returned home after a flight visit to Syria during which he had summit talks with Syrian President Bashar AL Assad Presidents Mubarak and Assad reviewed the current Arab and international developments and the Iraqi crisis in the light of the Security Council resolution that was issued recently. They also probed the situation in the Middle East, the developments in Palestinian territories and rejection by Israel to respond to international and regional efforts that are aimed at halting Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.


November 16th, 2002

President Mubarak inaugurated the new parliamentary session addressing members of both People’s Assembly and Shura council highlighting current regional and international developments, domestic priorities and stating a set of assignments to the government aiming at raising people’s standards of living.


November 13th, 2002

President Mubarak received, at the Presidential Palace of Heliopolis, credentials of 6 newly assigned ambassadors to Egypt.

President Mubarak held a session of talks with his Eritrean counterpart President Isaias Afewerki at the Presidential Palace of Heliopolis dealing with situation in Africa specially in Sudan  and Somalia, bilateral relations and developments of the Middle East peace issue.


November 12th, 2002

President Mubarak addressed the National Democratic Party (NDP) parliamentary committee stating that bombing Iraq will not terrorize other Arab countries in the region and will only trigger violence.


November 11th, 2002

President Mubarak received Arab League Secretary General Mr. Amr Moussa to discuss the outputs of the emergency summit of Arab ministers of foreign affairs held in Cairo.


November 11th , 2002

President Mubarak chaired over an extended ministerial meeting to review the EU partnership agreement.
