day visit. Mubarak and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahayan President of the United Arab
Emirates reviewed issues of mutual interests and the current situation in the Palestinian
territories.

Jeddah to discuss ways of strengthening Arab solidarity during the current crucial time as

Facultys library and information center established through a grant from him.

delegations attending the sixth Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA)
summit held in Cairo. In his speech, Mubarak stated that stimulation of the Free Trade
Area, which is mandatory to cope with the international changes, would serve the interests
of all member states.

Daniel Kurtzer. Emerging from the meeting Kurtzer said president Mubarak asked him to
convey to Washington his deep concern over the serious situation in the region and his

foreign and security affairs Javier Solana.The EU official, following the meeting, said
